I think the MCU (nrf promicro) is damaged or something. I've replaced the lora module and still meshtastic can't detect it. But the meshtastic fw runs fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

🥲 what else even is there to use anymore... I think I'm just gonna try ungoogled chromium. I wanted to support a different rendering engine but the AI integration in everything is just getting so annoying.

Might install arch again. I've been on Fedora for 2 years on my home laptop and Ubuntu at work. But it's time to ditch windows for reals on the gaming PC. Only thing I'm worried about is music production.

I started my job writing firmware for microcontrollers. 2 years later, I'm baby sitting AI agents and doing locode "workflows". At least I still do some PCB layout and hardware, but the AI is coming for that too. #aiBurnout #boringDystopia

#embedded protip 🤖 If you have a bunch of USB serial adaptors and need to persist them on reboot or keep track of what's connected to what, you can use /dev/serial/by-id/ or /dev/serial/by-path instead of /dev/tty*. They provide way more info for you to match against. #Linux #electronics
