I think I agree on the whole, though I notice when people read Bonhoeffer through Barth they tend to try to read the corpus like it’s CD, which tends to flatten the corpus. DBW is more like LW where it’s more unruly and occasional and thus more fun

The Hebrew Scriptures state that such prior problems multiply—rather than reduce—the wrongdoing of further harm. On Mt Sinai, the Lord declared allegiance with those who have preexisting conditions, and gave a law declaring Israel shall not be if it does not share God's compassion (e.g. Ex 22:21-7).

Very true. I find this is the interpretive point that gets the most adamant and emotional pushback from other Christians. I recently saw a forthcoming book that basically says if you question that disability results from the fall, then you have undercut the gospel. Pretty wild stuff
