In our 20th year, we're rapidly approaching 300 episodes of Radio Redux. Scary.

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Oh boy. The definition of a decision made by individuals not dealing with any of the issues, but who will gleefully add the metrics to their internal report. Good luck, mods!

You know they get fussy on days with a y in it.

I have taken many photos using my ring light, only for them to be completely outdone by the light in our kitchen

At this rate I'm gonna need to do a Hunger Games edit and just show all the dead Sonic and SEGA fansites I come across via a sky projection. www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_uA...

Found the music tracks too! Been looking for those for ages so they can be added to a future LoFi project.

Found an old USB that had the list of achievements I created for PES: Association Football on it. Some got through while others were planned but never saw the light of day. As with all good achievements they're an exercise in bad puns and references.

I expected a QTE to begin with death for failing every time someone came up to me at SEGA, but that was the culture.

If you're an old school #RadioRedux fan there's plenty of little nods about #271... besides a certain show-within-the-show. Tune in to @radiosega.net or @terraplayer.com now.

Celebrating 20 years of Radio Redux by... making a sequel to something from all the way back in episode one. A tribute to old radio dramas starring Team Chaotix. In two days. Wait, 'Team Chaotix radio drama'? Haven't I heard those words before recently? 🤔 Hmm. Must be my imagination...

So there's your answer. Stuff like this I don't mind answering btw, my 'invoke my name' rule still applies for SEGA stuff. Though its used rarely nowadays, as you might imagine. Have a good rest of your weekend.

SOE Marketing did one in a couple of mainstream outlets - a kids magazine or something, but I never found out what SOF did with theirs exactly. I was led to believe it was pretty much an all-in with one outlet. Though I would assume that one is still at SOF's office, much like the SOE.

100

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

One was with a site in Romania(?) that I worked with and was MASSIVE. We're talking numbers so big they upset the SOE Marketing team, leading to them trying to 'bring in-house' (see: nick for themselves) the Comms team's contact list. 😂 So funnily enough I wanted to do something big with them.

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

The rest got split between various activities in websites and magazines. I think I did two competitions online. One I worked with the excellent @ocremix.org (heyyy Larry!) who were at that point getting more attention internally at SEGA.

110

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

over how they were used. Two 'belonged' to the creative team and me personally - the creative team's one still lives at SOE in their new office,. Despite having nothing to do with it, nor paying us back for it, SOA weaselled at least one away to placate somebody for SOMETHING as I recall.

100

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

I think it might even have been SOF's idea! What there was about 50-50 to 60-40 split. In a rare case of the community team having money - as opposed to two elastic bands and a paperclip - I gave some funds to help the order get 'over the line'/funded in exchange for a couple of boards / some say

100

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

While I can't 100% validate the French board, it appears to be the same design of board - which was pretty basic. I believe some were indeed earmarked for the marketing department of SEGA France alongside SEGA UK's team - so the Jeux Olympiques logo would make sense for those.

Kevin Eva @kevineva.bsky.social · 31/01/2026

Hello peeps. Including @atsygo.bsky.social and @todd7694.bsky.social. I can't quite recall the number of boards made, it was somewhere between 8 and 16. ...If only people weren't so keen to get rid of their own history for short term 'progress' back then we could double check this stuff(!)

That's 2PM and 5PM for the return of #RadioRedux as we begin Season 11. Ignore that episode 2 comes before episode 1. Event scheduling needs. 😅

The boys bring their LMC Cast tradition to Radio Redux at 2PM, but at 5PM... oh boy! ARE YA READY FOR THE QUIZ? Hope you like the new look for #RadioRedux too!

In fairness they do spend a disproportionate amount of time slot car racing, playing baseball and trying to master childrens card games. A life of crime comes at you fast.
