I was kinda burnt-out at the end of last year. I felt like there's so much to do, yet too little to to tackle anything. For the past two months, I've been experimenting with the "1% rule": instead of few heavy lifts, I did smaller things but like every day. #opensource #maintainers #coding

9 years ago I uploaded my first photo to #Unsplash, back when the site was rather small. This month, my account crossed 40 million views and 280,000 downloads! 😳🤩 Many photos were even featured on the front page, or in specific categories, which is another boost that makes me continue. #photography

I switched from Promtail to OTel Collector for application logs and reduced the average CPU usage by 20% (4vCPU VPS). Disk I/O was also reduced from 2.5MB writes to 200kB. 🥳 #opentelemetry #logs #observability

Cloudhiker survived its first small DDoS attack today. Not a big one, but the site would definitely been offline if it wasn't mitigated by Cloudflare. I was first shocked to see 300k+ requests in the stats, but nothing else. Total volume was about 6 million hits. Well, let's go on.

After a lot of coding for Linkace and Cloudhiker in the past months, I decided to take some time for #gaming again. Started another #Fallout 4 run. It's so much fun! 🤩 Really love the Reactor and Grasslands mods, they give the whole game a completely new look.
