Another set of Hound doodles - Fun thing about this little project is I get to mess around with different costumes. Have something vaguely stereotypically Victorian: #art #sketch #workinprogress

HEY HORSES! We got times! AND rooms! Just over three weeks till Draft Horse time in Leicester! Just a heads up, I will not be around for "Love Wins" on the Sunday. Mr Scrooge won't let me have time off in November, it's a 7am start Monday, and long journey back on Sunday.

Today I learned that I REALLY need to get a permanent circle of 9" radius flex track set up. Lots of motor stalling that only a good run could have prevented...

A month ago I saw "The Last Laugh", and it was genuinely one of the greatest stage shows I've ever seen. Today I discovered the short film it's based on exists on YouTube with largely the same cast (Different Morecambe) That ending still has me welling up... www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBay...

In my work I have to take all my holiday days before the end of October. I also have to cover people over the summer. The upshot of this is that during peak Autumn I only work 3 days weeks at most. The sun is shining, the brown/red/orange/yellow colours are coming out. It's perfect!

Yup, still a personal favourite. I can still hear the screaming. The comic of Sunburst introducing Phyllis to Stellar has already been mentioned, but I still love how the punchline works on this one:

I'd say it's probably more due to the fact that it's very close to the studios in London, but even in 2026 the area around it is still very much open country. The church of Saints Michael's & All Angels in Hughenden if you want to have a nosey on Maps.

A fun little adventure in the rain yesterday took me to 'King Ina's Rock', the site the king's troops camped at before the Battle of Slain Hollow' (716AD. Now the site of the gardens at Alton Towers) The signs are so old here they still refer to the house as Alton Abbey rather than Towers!
