Believe it or not, there IS a prototype!

A first try with static grass. I finally get the appeal, but I'm going to need a ot of restraint, it's a very addictive result! 😅 #modelrailway

Another set of Hound doodles - Fun thing about this little project is I get to mess around with different costumes. Have something vaguely stereotypically Victorian: #art #sketch #workinprogress

Happy Thunderbirds Day to all who celebrate! For how much of a silly joke it was at the time I'm still pretty pleased with how that ponified Thunderbird 2 turned out! 🤣 Thunderbirds are PO(NY)! (2024): www.deviantart.com/bobthedalek/... #mlp #mylittlepony #pony #art #thunderbirds

In my work I have to take all my holiday days before the end of October. I also have to cover people over the summer. The upshot of this is that during peak Autumn I only work 3 days weeks at most. The sun is shining, the brown/red/orange/yellow colours are coming out. It's perfect!

Yup, still a personal favourite. I can still hear the screaming. The comic of Sunburst introducing Phyllis to Stellar has already been mentioned, but I still love how the punchline works on this one:

Today I learned that the church used for Agent One's funeral in Johnny English is also the same church used for Gerry Anderson's The Secret Service. Neat.

Just found out they've replaced Turnov the Russian Engine in the German production of Starlight Express with Ticktack the Swiss Engine. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the John Napier costume designs, and I'm sure it looks a lot different under stage lighting... but I can't unsee toaster waffle legs! 🤣

A fun little adventure in the rain yesterday took me to 'King Ina's Rock', the site the king's troops camped at before the Battle of Slain Hollow' (716AD. Now the site of the gardens at Alton Towers) The signs are so old here they still refer to the house as Alton Abbey rather than Towers!

The Isle of Wight - 2010-ish. Not so much a disappointing one, but one of our group spotted a 'trig point' (4ft tall marker stone) on the hill at the side of the road and decreed we all stop to have a look. After walking A LOT further than planned, turned out to be a medieval Lighthouse!

I was going to write a "Watching Cheese Sandwich: The Musical"! post, but damn, this play... That ending. Very sensitively handled but damn that's a whiplash gut punch comparable to the ending of Blackadder 4 (Maybe even sadder)... It's still on tour, if you get the chance go see it!
