Join us TOMORROW (03.15.25) for a clean up of Roberts Forest at KPUMC. (8 am). We're getting ready for springtime events by clearing limbs and debris that have fell over winter. We could especially use some trucks to help us move debris to the curb for collection.

On #NYE2025 I am reminded of Dag Hammarskjold, former Sec General of the United Nations. For many years as a NY Day journal entry. In uncertain, dark, and divisive days, our faith calls us to hope we CAN be better. Here’s to the New Year in North Oak Cliff, Dallas, and our world. — Eric Folkerth

We open the doors again. We know you might still feel off-center. Maybe angry? Want to hide under the covers? But we gather to “tend the home fires” & continue our mission. Today, we help our neighbors at Wilkinson Center for Thanksgiving. Join us at 11 Being with people, helps. Promise.

I’ve been arrested at the White House, defending immigrants. Risked losing my career UM clergy career doing same sex weddings. Defended reproductive rights. Stood in solidarity with BLM. Spoken against racism, fascism. Nobody can jump into every cause. But I'm praying for where I'll be led.

This @muzach.bsky.social post might strike some of you as an offensive appropriation. But... MAGA-GOP really is saying “my choice” to the autonomy of actual women. But they also say “my choice” to “the Body of Christ.” The two are, horrifically, interconnected. open.substack.com/pub/whenefta...

This Zach Malm BlueSky post might strike some of you as an offensive appropriation of women’s actual pain right now.
