If you can find them for eating, they're more similar to artificial grape for sure. I went to a vineyard that made Concord grape wine and ate them there. I didn't like them at all tbh, but I also don't like grape juice or grape flavor.

It's the same chemical found in Concord grapes, which are mostly used for juice. It's not a perfect replication since it's just one chemical component, but it is similar. We don't often just eat Concord grapes so that's probably why grape flavor is so divorced from grapes the fruit

I will never understand this, restaurant pos systems make it so easy to split checks by seat. It's usually easy to even split dishes like apps. There's no reason to split equally unless you're sharing like every dish family style or you're trying to get your friends to pay for some of your food

With small dogs, sometimes five little meals are needed when they're really young to make sure they're eating enough. We had to do that with our mini Aussie until he was six months or he couldn't eat full meals. He's on two a day like our other dog now that he's an adult

I can't speak for MFF specifically, but also some convention centers don't like when con staff do cleaning. Especially if cleaners are union. You can't stop attendees or vendors from picking up stuff, but convention staff represent the con and sometimes have weird lines to toe.

By staff, I assume Kiki means con staff who are volunteers for the event but don't work at the convention center. Convention center staff probably have biohazard methods of cleaning, but convention staff don't have access to cleaning supplies usually.

It's honestly not bad unless it's a fresh spray. The whiffs people get while walking by or driving are just vaguely stinky. I've always thought the extreme reactions were just played up. If you aren't getting hit with the spray directly, it's fine.

When they've just sprayed, burning rubber/tires. When spraying was a small or a while ago, bad, strong weed. When it's really faded, beer that has gone bad. I was a dog groomer and did wildlife rehab, skunk spray smell is lodged in my head.

Is there an actual reason to keep boas in full glass/acrylic enclosures or is it just easier/less stinky? I have a Hog Island boa and I've considered making her a bigger, more climbable enclosure with more open sides with wire. All the internet snake habitat plans are enclosed with acrylic or glass.

I couldn't get tickets to the world premiere of Frankenstein in Imax. They sold out in milliseconds. My only choice was to get there 40 minutes early and wait in the standby line. Guillermo del Toro walked by, saw me waiting, and had his team give me one of his personal guest tickets.
