My boss just called me into the office “did you go to the bank this morning?” “What?” “They called me, to confirm you worked here” Are you fucking kidding me, I put money in my account, which sent shockwaves through the fucking banking system in Taiwan, and my ATM card wouldn’t work. Crazy.

33 mins 3 forms, 2 IDs and questions on why I deposited money into my own account on Friday. Just to get my ATM card reset so I could take money out. FFS Taiwan banking is a joke. Cashier was genuinely surprised I wanted to use my bank account at their bank. A bank account I’ve had for 4 years.
