Yesterday it was Dots, today it is Muse, tomorrow will be Bloop, and after that Gogettr, Blimble, and Steve. I’m not using your AI all the same.

The cost for genuine whale oil to lubricate floppy drive mechanisms is making vintage computing unaffordable.

I have a long unavailable SD Boy. But there are a plethora of other printer emulators out there. Taking a screenshot on my Analogue Pocket and embiggening the image also works.

That is just a keyboard/trackpad. The Mac SE style case is something I designed to house a Raspberry Pi 3 and 800x600 display.

Today the Wisconsin Computer Club had an event at the library in Howard, WI. I showed off a NeXT Cube and custom mini computer. My sister sat down and completed the Oregon Trail in one go. She even lost all spare wheels 50 miles after starting to a fire and still made it!

I had a chance to present my NeXT Cube and a custom mini computer at the Howard library today. My sister sat down on covered the whole Oregon Trail in her first shot on an Apple IIgs. @wiscomputerclub.bsky.social

We live in a capitalist society where you can apparently be paid to protest. So here’s my pitch… Pay me more Republicans. Outbid your competition. You have the money.

When the polling indicates you have to resort to socialist bribes it has got to be bad.

If you’ve never played Orbital you’re in for a chill treat. Takes five minutes to learn all the mechanics, which only require two buttons to move. 10/10 desert island game. youtu.be/K3W6I8EUy28?...

If you use a modern Apple computer its lineage can be traced back to this computer. I’ll have it set up for you to try this Saturday in Howard, just outside a Green Bay, WI.

So this unsupervised minor just wanders around with his pet electric rat and they inflict violence on others in pursuit of domination? Absolutely disturbing.

The year is 1997. I jump off a train and break into a power plant. I'm about to become what the government would call an eco-terrorist. Having been brought up in a conservative household my political alignment is about to change.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that someone who does things with impunity knowing the courts will take forever to catch up to him may know they don’t have long left for this world?

If you saw my GameBoy Camera talk at #VCFMW I very briefly mentioned printer emulators. Well you Analogue Pocket owners are in luck because this core takes a novel approach. github.com/BananaWiFi/o...

I’m really digging the macOS 27 issues where videos from YouTube and Plex are just too difficult to play so a restart is needed.
