As well as certain timed events being outright dangerous for women and minorities. Spotlight hour at 6pm-7pm from October-March in Canada? Pitch black. Thrice I've genuinely almost gotten hurt or worse just trying to go out for something I really wanted. 1 wildlife, 2 men, not including weather. 3/3

Encouraging people to get outside and move is one thing, creating gambling and general financial problems is another. Not to mention how ableist it has become. I have chronic fatigue and joint problems, so long walks are not possible. Not even wheelchair bound. (Bring back Covid-era incense!) 2/3

Hot take: #pokemongo in-person events are bullshit and should be phased out. A brief period of the day should be allotted for unique spawns and raids globally. You cannot reasonably expect people to hop on planes which are A. Dangerous, B. Expensive and C. Time-consuming. 1/3

Does anyone have an underrated and obscure #marvelcomics character? I'll go first; mine's Maximillian Coleridge, aka #theshroud. Another title he recently took up was #moonknight!

Sooooo... when does my timeline switch from American politics to video games BlueSky? You asked me to follow topics. I followed topics. These are not the topics I followed. Nor the people. I don't want to doomscroll, I want to pretty-video-game-characters scroll.

My secret talent? Being able to make pretty characters in any character creation that look nothing like each other and have varying personalities in minutes. You want a pretty character that matches the mean run you're going for plus their romance option? I got you. Plus names!

No matter how far in the future a video game takes place, I have an immediate aversion to any sort of laser/plasma weapon. In this house we know kinetic weapons are just better. You keep your refracted light/superheated plasma I am hitting you with the chunk of metal from my explosion tube.

Dear @bethesdastudios.com , for Christmas I'd like one unbroken game. Just one. After fighting for far too long with Karliah at the gate for the Nightingale ritual, failing, and having to stop my Fallout 4 playthrough entirely because Father wouldn't enter the room no matter what.

Voice actors/actresses that interact with their fan base and are just as invested in their characters as the fans are are the magic, heart, and soul of those games/fandoms. When a VA is absent from that content, whether it be interviews or whatever, imo it feels so empty.

You've also been the kindest in responding to any silly or serious questions, and an autograph that's framed in the gaming room where I stream every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus 200+ subs on YT. We've gone through Oblivion, FO4, and now playing Skyrim, which you so kindly lent your voice to.

I understand the style is a design choice, but they also completely took away the softness in characters (most noticeably Solas) and wtf did they do to Dorian Pavus?! Harding looks NOTHING like she did in Inquisition. Whether that's good or bad is in the eye of the beholder.

KenaiGamesGallantly @kenaigg.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

They also clearly didn't hear what fans had to say or were hoping for regarding timeline consistency, choices we've made through 3 entire games, or even characters we were hoping to see again after a decade or so.

Is it just me or does Dragon Age: The Veilguard not feel like a 10 year project? I hate to compare apples to oranges, but RDR2 felt like an 8-10 year wait. That felt like it took the appropriate amount of time. BioWare had 10. Years. It doesn't look or feel like 10 years of work.
