I'll be taking a little break from Nasdara today in favor of some good ol' Chernarus fun. I cannot wait to be luxuriating in hydration 💧🚿 (and beautifully battling the flu instead of heatstroke). 🤘

I like that I bring people entertainment. I like that I keep going. I like that I overcame my uncertainties and first hit the 'Start Streaming' button. Progress isn't linear. Onwards and upwards. And maybe, downwards and then upwards. 🌳✌️

I really feel like streaming is what I'm best at in this part of my life - it's where my best switched-on 'work' energy is - a flow state of sorts. I can do some other things pretty darn well. But streaming... it's great and I'm always looking to improve. Back tomorrow. Thanks for the support!

You're doing a job because you need to. And you book a shift in as early as possible - two weeks in advance, as always. You get no message that anything is different. You turn up on the day for your shift: "Oh someone else is doing that now." How the hell do you treat people like that? Seriously.

A 2011 1080p monitor from when Full HD and DisplayPort were still relatively new things in PC speak. I can't replace it right now, but maybe its departure signals a changing of the tide. Or maybe it's just a monitor. Anyway, Happy Monday 🌳

000

KempasUK @kempasuk.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Yesterday my 15 year old (second) monitor died. You'd think 'it's just a monitor' (and it is) but it's seen a lot of use. It's been with me since I left my first 'proper job'. It's moved house as many times as I have.

I'm grateful for the fun of this weekend. Honestly, I'm finding things a bit hard of late and weekends like this are such a good breather. Of course, my second monitor producing an acrid burning smell just before today's stream sucked. I can't replace it. But we keep moving 💚
