Okay, I'm at the point where delivering parcels has to go and I'm shifting my energy into becoming a proper part-time creator/streamer (with another goal beyond that). - Intention set. - Five years of reps in the bag. - 81 trees donated. Let's do it! 🌳

I really feel like streaming is what I'm best at in this part of my life - it's where my best switched-on 'work' energy is - a flow state of sorts. I can do some other things pretty darn well. But streaming... it's great and I'm always looking to improve. Back tomorrow. Thanks for the support!

You're doing a job because you need to. And you book a shift in as early as possible - two weeks in advance, as always. You get no message that anything is different. You turn up on the day for your shift: "Oh someone else is doing that now." How the hell do you treat people like that? Seriously.

Yesterday my 15 year old (second) monitor died. You'd think 'it's just a monitor' (and it is) but it's seen a lot of use. It's been with me since I left my first 'proper job'. It's moved house as many times as I have.

I'm grateful for the fun of this weekend. Honestly, I'm finding things a bit hard of late and weekends like this are such a good breather. Of course, my second monitor producing an acrid burning smell just before today's stream sucked. I can't replace it. But we keep moving 💚

So, from my understanding, unless a twitch streamer opts out from training generative AI, chatting in their stream means your messages can be used for training. So streamers are probably best to flag if they have opted out or not with, what...a pinned message or bot command?

One of my clients said I did some 'questionable work'. How did they notice? Because it was effective and stood out, even though it didn't exactly meet guidelines. With it hurting nobody, I'd rather that than an AI copy of 'unquestionable' work. Happy Friday ✌️🌳
