I've enjoyed watching this guy's reaction videos. He's a guy who makes music. But does he call himself a Musician? An Arranger? A Maker? An Engineer? No, although he's all those things. He calls himself a Music Producer.

Seems to me I lived better when there was no Facebook, no Instagram, no Twitter, no Reddit, no Google, no iPhone, no Wikipedia, etc.

I subscribed to newspapers and magazines, shopped in stores and malls and catalogs, and went to libraries, sent letters, or made phone calls if I needed information.

I goofed on my family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers instead of shitposting and reading others shitposts because these social circles were enough.

How in the hell is my life better now? Why do I depend on this instant gratification?

I am an addict!

I cannot stop whenever I want.

I seem to feel I need this constant, instant, 24/7 connection even though I know my online activity is constantly tracked, bought, and sold beyond my capabilities of vigilance.

I do not want to feel that anymore. I want the life I had.

Part 2 of 2. Like having #SteakAndEggs in a convenient package.

Use a basting brush to spread the melted butter across the entire tortilla. This does 2 things: the tortilla will crisp up a little better. The finely shredded (but not yet melted) cheese will stick just enough to flip without throwing shreds across the cooktop.

Sprinkle finely shredded cheese on the outside surface of the tortilla. Then flip.

Add the browned potatoes & meatloaf across the diameter of the tortilla (atop the now-fried eggs). Add more shredded cheese.

Fold into thirds, then flip so the folds get seared together a bit.

Ancient Ice Exposed

A nearly two-mile ice core extracted from Antarctica's ice sheet contains what is likely the world's oldest ice, estimated to have formed over 1 million years ago. The extensive ice core—which is longer than eight Eiffel Towers—is expected to shed light on the timeline of ice age cycles on Earth and reveal connections between the planet's temperature and atmospheric conditions.

Researchers with the European-funded team of 16 scientists drilled at the remote site over the course of four summers at temperatures nearing minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit. As snow falls and freezes on the continental ice sheet (see diagram), it solidifies layer upon layer of ice and effectively traps samples of the atmosphere over millennia, including air, particles, and even viruses.
