Hi, I tried emailing after our producer got your message, but it bounced back. I sent a message via your website. My email is in there, or you can DM me here 😊

He was excellent. He and Tilda ATE their roles. And I never got the Keanu hate, I liked his Constantine, and I am SO there if the sequel does happen!

Horror does well at the Oscars...so can we stop bashing it? Doubt it. But I'd follow Ryan Coogler anywhere 🏆

When my cat sleeps on my chest under my chin it's like a fluffy weighted blanket. She's been doing it since she was a kitten and it feels so good ...also, she's in the way of the screen 🐈‍⬛

This is your regular reminder that in the year 2000, Paul Rudd, with frosted tips, appeared in the Hong Kong film GEN-Y COPS as a bad guy (kinda). In the movie, he does martial arts, fights a robot, and, most shocking of all, does an entire scene in Cantonese.

I used to recommend the book, 'From Caligari to Hitler' by Siegfried Kracauer, to my students. It's a psychological look at German film.

And can you imagine what it's like for those of us who don't have the cachet of fame...those of us who trudge through the trenches of shorts...us 'little' women with big ideas banging our heads against walls as we try & try again...what's the definition of insanity again? Oh yeh, a female director.

Can't stress enough the importance of women being able to direct films that look as stylish as this and are violent (not advocating violence irl). Women can make anything awesome when given the opportunity ❤️ #thebride #maggiegyllenhaal www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJra...

The Sin-Eater. It's only a short, but it's probably the most distilled and disciplined example of what I can achieve with a story. Plus it got made by @kellydirector.bsky.social and it's utterly beautiful. #Scriptsky

Love how film festivals think white male directors with their white male stories are SO fucking diverse to the point they plaster it over their websites and actually boast about it.

The Sin-Eater has been selected for Beeston Film Festival - whoop! A local festival to me & BIFA qualifier BUT I can't believe it's my 1st time playing! I attended the awards last year to watch a friend pick up the Pride B'Oscar & the cinema & team were lovely so I'll be there in April supporting ❤️
