🙏 i need recommendations for true horror (crime/supernatural) podcasts that just have 1 human (no AI) calmly reading out story submissions that are similat to Let’s Read, Kowabana, or any of the Eeriecast/Cryptic County podcasts, bc I’m running low on those & my brain cannot be alone as I do tasks

LOVE repo. I saw at least 2 Blind Mag cosplays at Dragon Con a couple weeks ago. One of them gave me a tiny eyeball as a souvenir

it was SUCH a lovely evening, even if I did go home and lie down on the carpet with my cat because I was too tired to even think of getting ready for bed 🤣🤣 absolutely worth it though, one of my fondest memories this year so far!

Selfie of me lying on the floor resting my head against a surprised looking white cat. (She is surprised/ alarmed because a dog is running down the hall off-screen)

I went back and forth on whether this is a lectern…technically it’s an angled drawing board but it does feature religious texts…. 🤔

Got really carried away making my Pentiment layoff protest sign for the Irvine CWA rally outside Obsidian offices today 🥹 it was so nice to meet folks from more Microsoft units. You all put so much heart and passion and craft into making video games. You all deserve so much better.

Traditionally illustrated poster drawn in the woodcut-style of the Obsidian developed video game Pentiment. It features the main character, a scribe named Andreas with a rust-red cap and shoulder length wavy blond hair, sitting at his lectern with a pen in his hand. He is looking worriedly up at an executioner’s blade which dangles above his head (an homage to the Sword of Damocles). Behind him is a mass of shadowy figures with dozens of swords over their heads or stabbing into their collapsed bodies.

It is captioned “Death by 1600 cuts”, a reference to the 1600 Xbox workers laid off by Microsoft on July 6 2026 (this also includes many Obsidian devs). The ‘T’ in “Death” is the executioner’s blade. There is gold embellishing on the font.

Post the best picture you’ve ever taken of your pet (if so inclined) easy #DailyMoch

A round white cat plush loafs near the camera, eyes closed in a contented squint, wearing a small red thread around its neck with a golden bell. Slightly behind it to the left is a real white cat loafing on a bed, making the exact same expression and wearing a red collar with a gold bell on it.

Same plush and white cat from before, now sitting on the ground. The cat is still loafing. There’s a Final Fantasy moogle figure on the ground to the left with a heart pom and its eyes squinty closed

There’s also a fun Ea-nāṣir reference in a Dune Awakening side quest I threw in the succulent Chinese meal reference as a bonus because I want more people to play this survival-crafting game for the story (which is an uphill battle)

Screenshot of a side quest mission objective from Dune Awakening. Text reads: “SCRAP METTLE: COPPER REQUIRED

Attention, Scrap Collectors! Miners! Prospectors!

There is money to be made from delivering copper ore to Griffins Reach Tradepost.
NOTE: Due to previous bad experiences, payment will be made only upon complete delivery. No advances! No partial payment! No promises of delivery tomorrow for payment today! If you find these conditions too restnctive, you can thank our friend Nasir!
(You still owe me a load of quality copper ore, Nasir!)

Screenshot of a side quest mission objective from Dune Awakening. Text reads: “Copper Required:

Finally! I've waited weeks for that copper!
It's damn hard trying to run an efficient scrap business when the quality of salvage contractors keeps dropping! Nothing but unreliable slackers, like that Nasir! He's probably passed out in a semuta den somewhere.
Anyway, you've proven you can deliver, so I might have some more work for you.”

Screenshot of a dialogue scene with Ambrose Lucifera from Dune Awakening. Text box reads: “Please do me the courtesy of telling me why am I being detained. What's the charge? Supplying wine to a banquet, a decadent Arrakeen banquet!?

we don't usually see each others headers, but here's mine. quote post with yours (if you feel like it)

Comic panel that I drew back in 2016 - a low angle shot of two men sitting at a diner table. The man on the left can only be seen from the shoulders down, bur he is wearing a leather jacket and jeans, posture relaxed and has his hand with a cigarette resting on an ashtray. He has a blue tattoo on his wrist. The other man sitting opposite him can be seen from the nose down - he is clearly terrified, his hands visible under the table gripping the diner chair he is sitting on. His right arm is a wood & metal prosthetic.

Today we were in a coffee shop and saw through the window a phenomenon that was so peak San Francisco. I was so gobsmacked in the moment of seeing it that I didn’t think to take a photo, so please enjoy my artist’s interpretation drawn on my phone with my finger on the flight home ✨
