So I guess this is our new normal, now. Yesterday he claimed that he's the sole authority of how laws are interpreted and today he has declared himself King. This is from the official Whitehouse X account. A crown with a US flag pin.

I timed that trip to Mt. Rainier perfectly. The rain clouds were moving in as I was packing up my campsite. Wildlife seen from the path: ptarmigan, marmot, deer. All fattening up for winter and completely indifferent to the humans mere inches away.
