I save the RAW files, I tend to export for a purpose, jpg files for social and sharing, and will export another version later if I decide to print. I keep all my negatives archived, so I could go back if a new/better way to scan comes along or if I needed a higher rez version for a larger print.

I live about an hour south of Cheyenne. Downtown is walkable, some great buildings and signs there. Not sure where you’re staying, it’s a decent day trip from Denver that could include a few other stops like Fort Collins.
