Interesting. I was at 'Glasto' '95, and Sad But True was the Orbital highlight for me, although I think it was Sad But New that came out on an EP, but have never heard it since.

A guy I worked with 20 years ago told me he went to that in 1970, so I lent him the film of the event, and he gave me it back after watching it and said "no, I don't think I was at that, after all".

I have become quite into the idea of a 'cold take' in recent months, the only problem is that it doesn't seem to exist as a thing. If someone is going to give their opinion on something, I'd like a properly considered view, not just a first impression. Almost nothing I love I liked first time.
