While I'm p casual as far as "gamers" go, I will say that DDR Extreme 1+2 were huge gateway drugs for me: to anime, to J-pop and electronic music, to rhythm games, and to that bright, colorful aesthetic that I incorporate into my artwork. These games are so dear to me, and I still love playing them.
