Well, the MRI results are in. The doctor wrote this summary: "MRI showed degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and disc bulging. Nothing surgical. Can consider referral to pain management for injections." Those frequent recurring injections just aren't going to happen. Time to suck it up.

Yesterday we got this season’s versions of the senior Flu and COVID immunizations. Not too bad but we are feeling tired and sore this morning. Fortunately, a long hot shower awaited and helped get me started today. We will be better prepared for the crowds on our next few cruises / travels.

Today is more medical appointments - this one is an MRI of my lower back vertebrae to see if they are getting worse. Cant wear any jewelry for this test to include no wedding ring. That hasn’t been off since the late ‘70s and I had a real struggle removing it.

We have “survived” our first morning on the beach. It was great and though it’s strictly textile, we enjoyed it. Now to get showered and rest up for a strenuous afternoon of doing pretty much nothing. 🤣

I’m about relaxed from our trip around Scotland. Now looking forward to our beach visit in about 10 days and then our November cruise of the Mediterranean and back home across the Atlantic. Always something to look forward to.

Had some outdoor landscape work and replacing a fuel evaporator sensor on my Jeep this morning. Really hot but needed to be done. Added a couple more stretches to my PT session afterward.

My lower back and hips have been barking at me pretty severely for a few weeks and are getting worse. I pulled out my physical therapy exercises and have resumed that routine some more. This is the starting stretches.
