Is it an industry wide gag that sign shops must have the most abysmal signs advertising their store?

A new hack for increasing my reading speed showed up on my feed. And I think something in me snapped. I am running into the woods to be as unproductive as possible.

I just can't bring myself to annotate books or use those stickers. I am sure some people find the practice genuinely helpful and enjoyable, but it feels performative when I do it.

I go and find a book that excites me based on the cover/blurb alone. Then I go next door from my favorite bookstore to my favorite coffee shop and immediately start reading. I just need momentum, so I have to get myself a book that I want to read "right now".

I need a book club. But, it just consists of my friends. And, we only read books I have already read that I really need my friends to read as well. Also, they are required to text me live updates when they hit the good parts.

This happened to me with a book. I remember the title being "grief is the thing with feathers" but this is a totally different book than the book that actually exists with that title. One of my favorite books too and its like I imagine the whole thing

As an aussie owner, the double merle is so sad. Breeders only do it because merles sell for far more than non-merles. But 25% of the litter will have crippling health issues. And aussies are such a sweet breed of dog.
