Another @keepingtimefanweek.bsky.social entry?? 😳😃 This time it's for the "Photo Booth" prompt. It immediately made me think of the few times I crammed myself into a booth with school/uni friends in the late 90s, and then I just wanted to see these three doing just that. #KeepingTimeOneYear 🎸

Sketch in greyscale of three teenagers crammed in a photo booth, grinning, with their eyes closed. They are (from left to right) twins Alex & Daniel Akutagawa and Denver Leary, from Kody Okamoto's Keeping Time comic.

My @keepingtimefanweek.bsky.social entry, for the "Backstage" prompt. Baby's very first attempt at a mini comic! 😅 I'll put the images separately, with better alt text, in the first reply. This will only make sense to 3 people (including me 🤣), so please keep reading. #KeepingTimeOneYear 🎸

4koma in greyscale featuring Denver, the tattooed punk guitarist from Kody Okamoto's Keeping Time comic, and 3 of my OCs. See first reply for more detailed descriptions of each panel.

I don't have any special art for it, but today marks one year since my webcomic, #KeepingTime, went live to the public. It's been a year of making mistakes and learning on the fly, but most of all, it's a year that's been so, so fulfilling. Thank you to everyone who's read or shared Keeping Time!

Happy 1st year anniversary to the webcomic Keeping Time by @kodyisover.com 🎉💗 Here’s my entry for the #keepingtimefanweek! I used the prompt Joy/Alternative universe and made Denver and Daniel 16th century style!

Comic page: Denver enters a bar. He’s dressed in 16th century fashion, a hat in his hands, a cape on his shoulders. He sees a man (Daniel) singing and playing the lute on a little stage at the back of the bar. He goes to sit at the bar, still looking at the man who performs. The man on the stage gets off the stage after his song under people clapping. He sits next to Denver at the bar, asking for a drink by lifting his hand up. Denver goes to him and asks: « Excuse me… ».

Comic page: Denver is looking shy, a hand in his hair, looking away, he asks Daniel: « Could you show me how to play? » Daniel looks at him, amused and replies: « Hum… sure! ». The last panel shows them sitting on chairs, Denver with the lute and Daniel showing him how to place his fingers on the strings. Denver is looking at him with a little blush on his cheeks while Daniel is oblivious of his effect on him.

Here’s a little fan comic to celebrate the public launch of the webcomic Keeping Time by @kodyisover.bsky.social 🙌🏻 What can I say, I just love Daniel and Denver very much already (and so will you!) 💞Congrats again Kody!

Illustration of two men on a street, one on a skateboard and the other holding his hands saying: “See! You’re doing great!”

Comic page: the man on the skateboard falls and the other catches him in his arm saying: “Got ya! Falling for me aren’t you?”. The other man pushes his face away saying: “Shut up Denver!”

Drew a lil Denver cos I like his style. Also he and my boy Steph hit the same design beats, which I find hilarious. Steph's been in my head for 20 years, and I didn't even know who Kody was before march.

Pencil sketch of Denver from Keeping Time.

He has coiffed hair, large gauges and a dog skull tattoo on his neck.

He looks confused

A small gift for @kodyisover.com, just because! A redraw of an adorable panel from page 64 of #KeepingTime 🥰 I've been having a lot of fun with anime screencap redraws, but I think webcomic panel redraws might be even more fun? (More to come in the future...? 🤔😉) bsky.app/profile/kody...

Redraw of a panel from the webcomic Keeping Time: a blond punk with a neck tattoo, wearing a leather jacket over a Led Zeppelin T-shirt, on a purple background. He's pointing at himself, with a slightly bemused expression. There's text over his right shoulder that reads: "Guitar boy?"

Another webcomic panel redraw: Elena, the self-proclaimed "big ol' trans lesbian" bartender from @kodyisover.com's #KeepingTime comic 💜 Yup, from the same page as the one I used for the Denver redraw 😆 What can I say, it was such a great page! #art bsky.app/profile/kody...

Redraw of a panel from the webcomic Keeping Time: Elena, a trans woman with short brown hair, wearing large gold hoop earrings, a gold wedding band and an off-shoulder long-sleeved purple top, on a purple background. She has one elbow on the bar counter, with her hand supporting her head, and the other arm resting on the counter. There's a small white heart to the left of her head.

A panel study from the webcomic Keeping Time drawn in pencil. Denver waves his hand at Daniel, his head angled down apologetically and a lit cigarette still in his mouth. A small pop-out panel shows a simplified drawing of Daniel, with dots for eyes, who appears surprised at Denver's appearance.

Due to popular demand, here's the updated prompt list. We hope this will be more inspiring for everyone! It will replace the old, much worse one effective immediately. (Happy April's Fools, everyone!)

The prompt list that is linked in the bio, except the prompts now say:

Elena // Elena's beauty
Elena // Why she needs a raise
Elena's pianist // Clap for him (or else)
Elena // Her mystery wife
Elena's pianist again // Spa Day
[in extremely tiny font] Dervis // Why 99% of men ain't shit
Elena Hernandez // SOmething dominican and unexpected (like her)
