Until now I'd been unimpressed with S3 of #StrangeNewWorlds to say the very least (no shock given the writers strike), but it sure turned it around today. Tense, well paced mystery, touch of cosmic horror, and most importantly just peak exploration vibes. Almost Outer Wilds-ish even. More please.

Having a lot of fun with Dune: Awakening atm. Never would have expected for a second that any of these Dune tie-in games would be half this authentic a Dune experience. Its basically Sand-nautica with MMO elements, and i'm very here for that. Plus you can fly an Ornithopter and that's hype.

Did some maths yesterday, of all the revenue #TheSojourn made in the last 31 days, only 7% were from sources that were NOT Patreon That's how bad things have got with author rates etc. Between what YouTube, Amazon etc see fit to pay, Patreon has become a life support machine for creators everywhere

You know, maybe art really *does* require suffering, because most of the cool things in Sojourn worldbuilding stem from @keepersdan.bsky.social tossing a terrible idea at me until I somehow find a way to make it scientifically plausible. Can't argue with the results, to be honest.
