Looks like people are interested so here's a sneak peak into what I've been working on. I made a little doll base that I can modify to make a bunch of things. I'm gonna give this one a mushroom top. I figured out how to give him a little belly and I'm really happy with how it looks. #crochet

My mom in law has been slowly talking me into selling my crochet work. It was something I just did to relax, but the extra money would help. I started this account to talk about my books, but would people be interested in seeing my crochet stuff? #crochet

More character art today. Continuing with Zan's crew. This is Coral, Zan's lookout. In dnd terms, she's a tiefling halfling. I'm probably gonna go with nephilim to but I haven't settled on it yet. #booksky #characterart #characterdesign

Happy Bisexual Visibility Day! I often just say that I'm gay cuz it's easier and I'm married to a man, but I'm a bi married to a pan. We both still like women, but we're happy just the two of us.

I've reached 53,318 words this week. This was about my half way point for my last book but I'm no where near half way yet. I'm seriously debating if I should split this into two books. I'm going to keep going as is for now and see how I feel once I hit the half way point. #writersky #amwriting

I got a little sick my last day off, but it was still a productive week. I didn't write as much as I wanted, but I finally made a timeline which was a little more priority at this point. I have a split perspective, so I needed to make sure events where lining up right. #writersky #amwriting

My work is closed for deep cleaning so I got a week off. I'm gonna take advantage of this to write more, but I'm gonna try to make myself take at least one day as a full break. I gotta take the chance to bake for fun again. I already made a beautiful apple pie over the weekend.

Having a mom who's invested in my writing is the coolest and scariest thing. She's as much of a nerd as I am so she's a great person to bounce ideas off of. But she's also my mom so I panic a little when I consider if I wanna write a sex scene. #writersky #booksky

When hubby and I got a joint bank account, the lady helping us mention that we made enough to be able to afford a house. Probably a sales tactic, but it get us thinking maybe if I get a good raise or he gets a better job. A week later, he got excepted to a better job. Things are finally going good.

Health update. I started taking Floradix over the weekend. I'm already feeling more energy, but my stomach is raging at me. I'm taking some time off work to be on the safe side. I work with food so I don't wanna risk anything. Hopefully I just need to give my body some time to adjust.

I've been subscribed meds so I think I can say it. The reason I've been getting more and more sick over the last 10 years is cuz I'm anemic. It's good news cuz it's simple to treat but I'm still not handling it great cuz I suspected I had it 10 years ago but my quack of a doctor didn't look into it.

I've been waiting all week to update you guys on my health, but I still haven't heard anything from my medical team. Did the blood draw last week. I've looked at it, and I think I know what's going on. But I don't wanna say anything till they do. I'm tired and frustrated.

I think I just made my favorite character design so far. This is Copper, Zan's nb first mate. Some characters take time to shape. Copper wasn't one of those characters. They appeared in my head and demanded attention. #booksky #characterart #characterdesign

It's really hard trying to be a writer when you're dyslexic. I'm trying to get at least 1,000 words written every day I can write but even that doesn't feel like enough. Then I have days where I only get to about 600 words and I feel tapped out. I wish it was easier to get down the words in my head.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been good about keeping my Monday, Friday updates. My physical health has been taking a turn for the worse again. I had a chat with my boss and we agreed to move me to working part time. I'm not ready to give up on my job but I gotta slow down.

I took Druid outside after a nice rain day. This boy has a perfectly clean water dish in his enclosure that gets refreshed regularly that I never see him touch, but he goes straight to slurping the mud water. The boy confuses me sometimes. #tortoise

I redrew Ash last week, so it was time to redraw Zan. He's outfit stayed mostly the same, with a few tweaks for the cold. He shatters his arm in the second chapter so I have him trying to hide it in this one. #booksky #characterart #characterdesign

One thing I enjoy about writing is the rabbit holes it takes you down. One of my characters loves art, so I'm doing a bit of research for him. Now I'm comparing divisionism and pointillism. A couple weeks ago, it was seeing what crops could grow in snow. I'm looking forward to the next rabbit hole.

Took a bit of a step back on my physical recovery this week. I really hurt myself at work. They know I can't bend over a lot, but they're making me use these tiny brooms that only come to my hip to sweep a kitchen. I really need to start saying "no," more. I want to be able to keep working.
