The interview (credit to Rebecca Watson) is one of the best pieces I have read in ages. Really moving account of how life changed for him and his family after his terrible accident. This moment...

In one encounter in his new book, he bumps into someone he knows who pats him on the head, clueless as to how to greet him. It's an acute depiction of the clumsy inability to act normally in the face of disability. "Well, there's no eti- quette ...I thought it was a kind of laugh. It was also quite patronising to pat a disabled person on the head." He laughs. "It's quite funny."

It's good to see the government finally urging people to prepare for food shortages. Obviously as an #influencer I was early to this and am happy to give advice to newbies on what the #MiddleClass #prepper should be stockpiling.

A 9.1 mile circular from Chippy to the Rollright Stones and back. Phone ran out of battery and so I was not able to finish with a pint. #KeefsWalks

After a long gap where the third book was, erm, lost in translation, I finished the Lars sister bells trilogy with The Night of the Scourge. You should read them all. There's a lot of pages covering 400 years, but the way he brings it full circle is so well done. #keefsreads @bookstodon #bookstodon
