enough movies demonizing the mentally ill. They should make a movie about how the average neurotypical person is demonic

You show the median queer teenager another queer person whose identity deviates 0.5% from theirs and they start talking like Pierce's racist dad from Community

A reminder that they've had a decade to work out a permanent solution to this very foreseeable issue. This is unacceptable.

Got my Deltarune saves all ready for Wednesday. I will, of course, be calling off work to play. Do not let me down, Mr. Fox.

Pretty pathetic that the folks at RPGHQ need to immediately launch into attacking trans people and whining about leftists marginalizing them when asked the very basic question of why they need to break the one term of an otherwise open-source mod.

My guess for Ch3's size is that it's got a gameplay-heavy but missable sequence that has a lot TO DO with the WR without actually being *part* of it

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

WR seems to be a metatextual way of bruteforcing UT's No Mercy Route *into* Deltarune. I think Chapter 5 will end in giving us that wish. I'm sure there's going to be some sort of twist on that, but I think that's kind of what's being conveyed right now. Just my thoughts!!!

My guess is that, post-Chapter 5, the Weird Route will lean heavy into the same hallmarks as Undertale's No Mercy Route. Significantly less content, more or less nonexistent story, and the only thing really making it "worth doing" other than an alternate ending being a few new fights.

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

... There will be no way for the story to continue on as it's supposed to. I don't think this necessarily means there's gonna be two different Chapter 6 and 7s depending on your route, but I do think it's going to have massive consequences. Far bigger than we could've realized.

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

I think the Ch4 scene was the point of no return, there's no way to correct the story after Noelle comes into play again. Something very bad is going to happen when she shows up again, likely in Hometown rather than a Dark World. And once that happens...

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

I think Chapter 5 will be what fully derails the story, not the end of WR altogether. So far we've had WR moments, but the story still ends up continuing as-planned. We've messed with things, but the story is still progressing on as it's supposed to in the end.

100

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

Especially if size is supposed to refer to "impact". Why would the first instance be the most impactful? I'd argue Chapter 4's WR scene was way more impactful on the story overall. I dunno what the size could really be referring to. Gameplay length, maybe?

100

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

For starters, I don't see there being any way it *really* ends in Chapter 5. Giving a bad end when there's still 2 chapters after just feels strange and disjointed, especially with the emphasis being placed on it. My guess is that this only refers to actually derailing the story.

leon @kecleon.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

Since we're a few days out now, I figured I can speculate on the Weird Route one more time, specifically This. I think we're lacking critical context to actually draw conclusions on it.
