In case you're asking, 'What do OpenAI's business terms say about security?' Well, not much. There is no link to the phrase 'Security measures' in the document, so the phrasing is circular. They do elsewhere rave about their SOC2 compliance and data encryption however. openai.com/en-GB/polici...
5.1. Security Measures. OpenAI will comply with the Security Measures. OpenAI may periodically update the Security Measures. If OpenAI updates the Security Measures in a manner that materially diminishes the administrative, technical, or physical security features of the Services taken as a whole, Customer may elect to terminate the Agreement and associated Order Forms by providing written notice to OpenAI within five business days of the update.

My summary of 1.6: 'We've crawled the web already so that you don't have to, but please avoid publishing your own or other's personal data on public networks with the tools we provide without consent, we've tried our best to implement standard anti-crawling but... they can't be relied on. See above'
1.6 Users may also share the Inputs and Outputs information (together referred to as "Dialogues") by generating a unique URL. Anyone who has access to a shared link can view the linked Dialogues. When using such feature, any Dialogues you share with others, if subsequently published on public networks, may be at risk of being obtained by third parties through technical means such as web crawlers. We have implemented industry-standard anti-crawling mechanisms (the robots exclusion protocol) to prevent third parties from scraping user-publicly shared content. However, due to the technical limitations commonly existing within the industry, such risks cannot be entirely eliminated. Therefore, we recommend that you take the following precautions when using this feature: (1) avoid sharing your own or others' personal information, especially sensitive personal data; (2) before sharing other individual's personal information, please ensure you have obtained their explicit consent; (3) before publicly publishing any relevant conversation to an open network, carefully review the content to identify any information you would not wish third parties to access.

- Goes to the ICO website to check a registration - Opens the page to find the ICO has added a chatbot (inward sigh) - Notices where the chat data goes to - waves to Microsoft and Google - Clicks on privacy notice link - Finds the longest layered policy I've ever seen - Where to even begin?
ICO's digital assistant
I'm here to answer your questions.
Hi, I’m the ICO’s Digital Assistant. I can help you with your registration queries, for example whether you need to pay and how much, and if you need to appoint a Data Protection Officer.

You won’t need to tell me any personal information.

If you use this service, the contents of your chat will be shared with services provided by Microsoft and Google, that interpret and answer your questions. To find out more, read our privacy policy."This privacy notice tells you what to expect us to do with your personal information when you make contact with us or use one of our services."

"This notice is layered. So, if you wish, you can easily select the reason we process your personal information and see what we do with it."

Not sure I agree with you ICO. The layered list has around 54 items. Too many to list here within the character limits.

“Often producing two novels a year, Walliams became extremely valuable to his publisher. According to industry magazines, he was responsible for 44 per cent of HarperCollins’s children’s sales in the UK in 2018.
However, his popularity as a children’s author has started to wane and he has been criticised for including “harmful stereotypes”. According to the Bookseller, his sales over the summer fell by more than 60 per cent.”

The (decommissioned) National Charge Point Registry is still listed on data.gov.uk, which would be fine (historical data), if the summary was updated accordingly. But you might figure it out, as none of the links to data work: www.data.gov.uk/dataset/1ce2... @owenboswarva.bsky.social thoughts?
The decommissioned National Charge Point Registry is still listed on data.gov.uk and the description has not be updated to state that it's no longer in use. In fact, confusingly for anyone unaware, the states "A real-time view of Publicly Accessible PiV (plugged-in vehicle) Charge Points within the UK. Sometimes you find inspiration in corners you didn't expect - which is always cheering. Today, the mission statement of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) - the body that oversees technical/infrastructure Internet standards. www.ietf.org/about/introd... www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc3935....
RFC 3935 IETF Mission Statement October 2004

4. Issues with Scoping the IETF's Mission

4.1. The Scope of the Internet

A very difficult issue in discussing the IETF's mission has been the
scope of the term "for the Internet". The Internet is used for many
things, many of which the IETF community has neither interest nor
   competence in making standards for.

The Internet isn't value-neutral, and neither is the IETF. We want
the Internet to be useful for communities that share our commitment
to openness and fairness. We embrace technical concepts such as
decentralized control, edge-user empowerment and sharing of
resources, because those concepts resonate with the core values of
the IETF community. These concepts have little to do with the
technology that's possible, and much to do with the technology that
   we choose to create.

At the same time, it is clear that many of the IETF-defined
technologies are useful not only for the Internet, but also for
networks that have no direct relation to the Internet itself.
