I'm glad you said that. Not trying to be mean to others, but sometimes when people say an old game/media "doesn't hold up" or "is boring," I feel like they miss this kind of.... vibe, reflection, awareness.. dunno what to call it. It's like they have soul-avoidance syndrome.

I struggle with this since I make art that makes me happy, but the second I put it online it becomes content and enters a toxic atmosphere tht I'd rather not participate in. By toxic I don't necessarily mean people's negative attitudes, but rather what viewing millions of contents does to our brains

I don't think absorbing "content" should be a big part of anyone's life, partially for the reasons you're saying. Content & content creators aren't the same as media & art. Including content creators that aren't playing the algorithm game and trying to get paid.

I did the line art for this one traditionally, like with an actual ink pen. I really like how it looks. I've been trying to move my illustration process to be more traditional and less digital. I'll post Growlithe in a few days; I was just more excited about the arcanine. #arcanine #growlithe
