Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man genuinely surprised me. The animation isn’t the greatest, but besides that the writing and action are both great so far

Got to watch Sonic 3 for a second time in theaters and man it’s crazy how fast the movie goes by. Still a really fun movie tho

Sonic Adventure 2 hit over 1,000 concurrent players on Steam for the first time ever. The power of the movies is real as hell right now

Not technically a poster but YAAAAY I’ll take it

Sonic Movie 3 overall is a really good improvement to 2. Plenty of action and all of the cast gets at least one moment to shine. I really liked how they adapted Shadow’s backstory as well. I do wish the movie was a bit longer tho, bc the pacing is pretty fast the whole way through

At first I wasn’t a fan of the title change to just “Superman” but nah I get it now he really is Superman

As incredibly excited as I am for Sonic Movie 3 I still refuse to believe it’s as good as everyone says it is until I see it myself

Ace Combat 7 is really fun so far, but damn this game really requires you to be locked in at all times

The Shadow Gens Movie level was awesome but man Keanu sounds so flat. I hope he sounds better in the actual movie

KBoom17 @kboomski17.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Idk how to explain it, but there’s something so defeating when you go to check the temperature outside and you see a fucking 4 on your phone

KBoom17 @kboomski17.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

I’m so mixed on Secret Level as a concept bc on one hand I really like the idea of artistic freedom with these Video Game IPs but on the other hand I hate that most of them are only around 13 minutes long so the stories are super bare bones and they’re mostly just action fests

KBoom17 @kboomski17.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

Sonic getting a Transformers collab really feels like one of those pipe dream “never gonna happen” collabs but wow it actually happened. Both of the figures look really good too

I’m almost mad at how good Marvel Rivals looks bc I know it’ll become a problem if I start playing it and actually enjoy it

Was not expecting Dragon Ball Super’s manga to completely rewrite the exhibition match arc but holy shit this whole mini arc is countless times better than what the anime did. Really loved the added world building with the other universes as well

17 hours in and I really can’t stand M&L Brothership anymore. The progression is slow, the battles aren’t engaging, and the story has just gone off the rails. I’m genuinely really disappointed in this game bc I know if it was a 20ish hour game, it’d be sooo much more enjoyable

KBoom17 @kboomski17.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

I really like that this time around they’re choosing to keep the real final fight hidden for Sonic 3. Bc we can expect that Gerald’s gonna betray Eggman but we really don’t know if that includes Shadow or not

The Knuckles 30th Anniversary One Shot was such a fun read. Loved his interactions with Trip, and really liked that we got to see a bit of Pre-SA1 Knuckles who is still struggling at getting along with the main group. Absolutely recommend reading just as a standalone story

Sega really needs to work with a company and make Shfiguarts-like Sonic figures bc it kinda sucks having a series with such expressive characters and not having any figures that can even get close to getting the aesthetic right
