kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 15/01/2026I don’t think I’ve ever felt this over a year this early in a year. The amount of garbage happening far outstrips my ability to consume and process it. So I just feel overwhelmed and we are… *checks notes* 2 weeks in… 000

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 20/09/2025Finally upgraded my phone and I took the opportunity to make a clean break with some apps and not install them on the new phone. I added some time limits to apps I want to be scrolling through less and went with a smaller screen size phone to encourage less distraction and more time in the pocket. 120
kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 15/04/2025We’re at the constitutional crisis fastest than I anticipated. And I was anticipating it being pretty bad and speedy. 010

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 29/03/2025It's been out for 10 years and I finally played a round of Scythe, I learned a painful, valuable lesson about what including combat mechanics can mean for a Euro-style game and got completely boxed out of playing anything 🙃. But knowing how to avoid that now I think it's a neat design. 020
kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 18/03/2025It’s almost like crystallizing political leadership around a group of increasingly ancient and out-of-touch silent generation husks was a bad idea; and that leadership needs to move down to the next generation faster to avoid becoming stagnant. 010

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 01/03/2025I don’t think I’ll ever forget how I feel today. Just a horrible pit in my stomach; watching Russia propaganda pieces be filmed in the Oval Office. Unfortunately, this won’t be rock bottom though I wish it were. 130
kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Test drive on the Costco Roma tomatoes made for a pretty good base sauce. Froze 4 24oz bags and had a pound of pasta with the rest. Interested to toss some meatballs in to get happy and see how it reacts. 1110

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 08/02/2025Got to take the kids to the school night Monsters game a while back and sit right behind the band. Fun overtime win topped off a nice time at the game. Hockey, even AHL, is probably one of the best live sports to watch in person. 020

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 29/12/2024Trying to put together my list of top 10 albums of 2024 has resulted in about 25 that I really enjoyed. kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 20/12/2024Trying to relisten to my top 20ish albums of the year to assemble a final top 10. I thought it was a lean year but there’s more contenders for the top 10 than last year. 000

kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 12/12/2024Finally finished s2 of Arcane. Might be one of the most moving and beautifully created animated thing I’ve seen. There was some similar pacing issues that persist from s1, but they just nail the climactic music video scene every time. Soundscape in the show was amazing when listened on full tilt. 010
kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 03/12/2024I took the afternoon off I had to just sit and listen through a bunch of my 2024 favs to start organizing my year end music thoughts. kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 03/12/2024I gave the Blood Incantation album a solid listen and it’s unfortunately not for me. It’s genuinely well made proggy death metal, but it’s the death metal singing that ultimately takes too much enjoyment out for me. 120
kazinova @kazinova.bsky.social · 02/12/2024New week, new #keebsky setup update. Going with the QK65v2 with DCX Dolch on Oil Kings. Sounding like marbles bouncing on a granite counter all week… mmmmm 040
