when it comes to kamen rider, you can basically just start with whatever you think looks coolest outside of the anniversary seasons. don't worry about continuity either. each season is a separate story- some are darker, some are sillier, but drive as a good "middle of the road" pick

when it comes to kamen riders, start with your favorite theme or tone and go from there since most of them are their own contained story the main seasons i'd advise against are zi-o + decade since they rely a LOT on knowing the prior series is there a specific tone or vibe you're looking for?

it is pretty weird... i think the confusion comes from sachika getting a lot to do, and her *relationship* w lakian developing but like... sachika herself is still the same as ep1 sachika, so its not really *her* developing its just things around her that happen
