Today is Loving Day and the 59th anniversary of the decision in Loving v. Virginia, the landmark Supreme Court Case that ended the ban on interracial marriage in the U.S. This is a picture of my parents and me circa 1986—a family that would have been illegal in 16 states before 1967. lovingday.org
