this 1941 article where the author describes all the guests at a fancy society party and ruthlessly analyzes which of them might become Nazis and what their hook would be has unfortunately aged like a fine wine. we still know all these people

once people acknowledge that 2 of the main driving factors behind misogyny are a) men as a social class wanting to have more access to sex and b) reproductive exploitation of women, we will finally be able to have more honest conversations about the oppression of women

episode 6 of castlevania nocturne genuinely made me cry lol. hearing “because i had to, because there are people i love” really got to me

it’s incredibly frustrating to talk to people irl about the current political situation globally and just … not being taken seriously. they are acting like i’m “fear mongering” or whatever although it’s clear as day what’s currently going on

I do not think that ‘blood at the root’ is actually a good example.

The medium-term goal here, which most of these people openly admit if you ask them, is the repeal of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which restores their ability to segregate by race, bar black people from businesses, and racially discriminate.

it’s just kinda funny to me how much asoiaf/game of thrones has impacted YA books and romantasy throne of glass series clearly takes a lot of inspo from it, sometimes even steals titles from asoiaf, fourth wing also has some obvious asoiaf influences

i kinda abandoned my witch hat atelier reading thread but seriously guys, you have to pick up this manga
