Have just been for a 5k run but it is VERY COLD and there is sleet everywhere. I am now sat hugging a hot water bottle and am dosed up on paracetamol and ibuprofen. I had covid two weeks ago and can’t work out if it’s covid related or the cold of the run. I need to be right for #parkrun this weekend

So Zoe Ball is stepping down from Radio 2’s breakfast show and they are giving it to Scott Mills. Radio 2 has turned into such a boring station made up of comedians hosting or ex Radio 1 dj’s. They seriously need to bring in new talent. It’s a yawn fest

Just over 1 year on and I completed the Brigg 10K poppy run 2 weeks ago. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ I now religiously run 5k, three times a week and it has been the greatest exercise pleasure I’ve ever had. Park Run is dopamine in an outdoor setting and I cannot believe that I can seriously say, “I love running”

Have now run four “runs” on my journey to doing a 5k and not dying first. You could literally walk faster 😂 That said, did Park Run last Saturday ( same runtime btw) and I LOVED it. Husband did his in 24:38 and BOUGHT A SODDING T-SHIRT

Ok, did it. Did my first ever Park Run. 42:53. That was obvs a combination of 1 min run and walking etc. My face was so red I thought I’d burst a blood vessel. BUT, I bloody did it and I bloody loved it. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

Need a lot of encouragement sent my way. After 30+ yrs of complete inactivity, I’ve signed up for a 10k adventure style tuff mudder thing. Am I mad? yes? Am I deluded? Also, yes. Am I likely to regret this? HELL NO! (two truths, one lie 😁). I have seven months to train. Couch to 5k starts today!

Waiting for the ferry at Calais fascinated by a man, who appeared to have no neck dressed head to toe in Burberry who argued the toss for an hour with the port manager cos he’d booked for 4 in the car and had 6 and the ferry was full for pax. It was such fun. Port manager just kept saying “non”

Need a tv series to watch. Any platform. Have watched : The Wire, Sopranos, BB, True Detective, Mad Men, Sharp Objects, Six Feet Under - listing those so you can see sort of things we like. Don’t really like fantasy/sci-fi. Please do recommend.

🤔 How come in every UK based drama or film, the person driving the car ALWAYS manages to find a parking space RIGHT OUTSIDE where they need to go. Have they ever been to any UK city centre! Here’s an idea, drive around for ever, park 2 miles away and arrive sweaty AF to your meeting/wedding/funeral
