Bulbs are cool. I pick up whatever I see on markdown and bung it in. Over years it has developed into a neat collection which I lift and spread every 2-3 years. I don't even know what this one is but it bloomed for ages.

The previous Labour Govt dropped a bunch of speed limits. The NACT Govt reversed the changes, did two rounds of consultation, and ended up reinstating the original Labour govt changes. Great use of resources. Glad we're not wasting time or money on idealogical farts. #nzpol

This splash used the entire sample pot of Resene 'Southern Cross'. Worth it.

Charcoal curtain, key hooks, shelves containing books, binoculars, towels, and a stuffed lemur. And a beige wall.

I was at the supermarket today, and a woman stopped me to ask if I knew the price tags had cameras. When I looked, sure enough. On every tag in the store. How much have we over-paid for groceries so entire stores can be filled with thousands of these?

Dragged my bum outside and spent an hour weeding a garden bed. Was rewarded for my effort with some bonus potatoes. 🌱

Same bed, different angle, sun is out and the weeds are gone. Only trimmed catnip at each end and some chamomile I'll transplant. Cats are hanging around, attracted by the chopped catnip.

For the last 6 months my camera roll includes a series of photos of me in changing rooms, trying on increasingly-smaller clothes, utterly surprised that they fit. This weight loss is a side effect, rather than my goal, and it's very strange.
