So, the dev of one of the greatest puzzle games ever made released their first new game in a decade and in two days I have heard literally nobody talk about it. It has barely any Steam reviews. What's up? What am I missing?

I'm really glad he's getting another chance. He got shot in the foot with that production schedule for Iron Fist and never deserved the bad rap he got. I hope they give the Defenders alums some real meat this season. They deserve it!

Companies need protection of their IP but this is so comically over the top. Hiring employees doesn't mean you own them. Also, if you need a hidden clause that your employees can't make anything that doesn't belong to you, maybe instead ask yourself why they don't want to publish with you.

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is one of the best damn puzzle games I've played, the pitch I'd give is, imagine a Survival Horror game, but everything is puzzles. It's a wonderfully stylish experience, I absolutely can't recommend it highly enough.

Just got Brando Sando's storybooks in the mail today and my little one wanted to read The Dog and The Dragon. They were enthralled. They pointed and asked questions throughout the story. Huge success. If you have a little kid and want something to read them, you should definitely take a look.

Something to keep in mind with the Cornell story is how messed up New York's laws are regarding SA. In New York, legally, if you choose to take drugs or drink, that does NOT factor into your ability to consent. This is likely a factor with what happened at Cornell and NEEDS TO CHANGE.

I'm seeing a surprising amount of anger towards Ed Sheeran and a shockingly small amount of anger towards Robert Kraft, the one who actually banned Macklemore from his stadiums. I feel this story has a pretty clear villain and unsurprisingly, it's the billionaire and his stadium cabal.

Something I love about achievements is being able to see that 9% of Psychonauts 2 finished the first level, saw the hub world, and said "nah" I'm good before putting down the controller and never playing it again.

Fair warning to folks looking at The Expanse: Osiris Rising's collector's edition, Owlcat has made some great games but they've had real trouble with physical items. Maybe they sorted that out but folks who backed Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous got their physical items THIS YEAR.

I started playing South of Midnight now that Compulsion is indie. It plays like a lost 360 game but it looks more like a lost Laika film. Absolutely gorgeous. The combat feels meh but I'm still loving it so far.

I miss the days where game balance only mattered so far as players' entertainment. There were no concerns about perfect balance because online matchmaking either wasn't ranked, wasn't common, or just wasn't even a thing.
