I have a crazy theory… TikTok feels “dumb” lately. Almost like the algorithm is broken or completely missing. My guess is TT/ByteDance removed their IP (algorithms) in the shutdown. Now they will sell the U.S the broken, leftover parts for way more than it would ever be worth in real life.

Chat. This TikTok shutdown is gonna be wild af. I’m still amazed how the U.S. Congress (and American tech bros) think there is any way BD would sell off. They will gladly shut it down. It’s a single product. Only an American company would put everything they have into one product, lol.

Facts from a business owner who relies on a lot of social media marketing: 1. Nobody who is serious is on Facebook anymore. 2. Nobody who is serious is on X anymore. They both generate “small cap” ROI at best these days, and they aren’t coming back. We don’t need to invest there anymore.

Prediction: MMT will be the underpinning of the Trump economy and there will be a LOT of media re-training of the public on how government debt is actually beneficial and not “bad”. To be fair, I’m okay with MMT. It will be that sudden change of decades old messaging that irks me, lol
