#Faithless were immense last night. We danced all night. Beautiful tribute to Maxi Jazz and sampled his vocals for the iconic tracks. Sister Bliss got quite emotional talking about him in his hometown of Brixton.

This time last week I was in Sheffield. Went for a good walk, drank pints, ate Vietnamese food, spent the evening with old friends, bought records, hugged my son who I hadn’t seen for weeks. It was bloody marvellous.

This weekend I redecorated 14’s bedroom and yesterday I built her new bed, dressing table and bedside table. Hard work on my own but very rewarding and it looked great. I was pretty proud of the result. This morning I went in to wake her up and… it’s a tip.

Speaking of bed bugs, I was bitten by them during a stay in New York in 2005. The hotel moved me to another room but it wasn’t as nice as the other one. Open to options, obviously.
