I just had a devastating self reflection moment. I had a video about the EEO Act do numbers on the wrong side of TikTok. Of course, me being my sassy self, I was getting into it with them. Totally not taking it seriously (they don’t understand sarcasm). It was entertaining I was having fun. 1/2

Thank god for TikTok still being around. Put out a feeler for a book club - and almost 250 people have joined in 14 hours 😭💙 We’re reading A People’s History of the United States.

I love my children, but going to an elementary glow party a 6pm on a Friday after a stressful work week is my 7th circle of hell. 🥲 (they’ll sleep good tonight though)

Resilience is an act of protest. Find joy and community and we can be unstoppable. 🩷

Today, I am thankful for my empathy. I’m so glad I don’t walk around with a heart full of hate and fear. I’m GLAD I don’t understand the mentality of ~the other side~ Keep being a good human. 🩷

Maybe we aren’t here to maximize our productivity and hack our schedules. Maybe we’re here to make soup, take naps, and hang with friends. Ideally in a hollow tree in a forest meadow.

America is the bad place. I’ve been on Xiaohongshu for two days, and scrolling has made me cry. Just the grocery prices ALONE. 🥲

Army vet here. I was a 35F, and part of my job was reviewing security clearances. We removed access if UCMJ was violated, and I saw manyyyy demotions and chapters. The MOST common? Behind drug use, it was infidelity. Hegseth is completely unqualified. I cannot trust this person to uphold UCMJ.

If you can’t follow UCMJ, you have zero business being secretary of defense.

Feeling very much in my unhinged era. 6 more normal days. I’m so unprepared for the next 4 years. 🫠 I feel like I’ve been internally screaming for months

Downloaded Little Red Book/Red Note. What a little treat. ❤️ Highly considering deleting my IG and Facebook after I download all my data. It’s a small act of protest, but if we all do it, it’ll make their pockets hurt.

Content creation in 2025 might look completely different. One thing I want to see is more ~regular~ content creators. More normal people collaborating together on projects. So over the unattainable influencer culture

Honest thoughts- is starting a YouTube in 2025 a dumb idea? I don’t want to go back to IG reels. I also want to play around with long form content

The fact that the TS vinyl cases and guitars (that dropped TODAY mind you) are already being resold for hundreds and thousands of dollars more makes me sick. Resellers are trash. First tickets- now merch again? Just tacky.

I’m personally loving Briana Chickenfry’s Swiftie arc. Leaving a toxic relationship is so hard and healing is a bitch. Say what you will about her, but I’m glad she’s going into her healing era.

White women- how do we go about building actual community? Blue bracelets have been trending but that’s not enough. We NEED to take the weight and labor off our POC sisters. With over half of the white female vote going to 🍊 major work to do in our communities. Thoughts?
