got around to watching Hathaway 2 last week and i'm still rolling it around in my head, really good movie, it was nice to spend more time getting to know the characters and their motivations, Gigi especially looking forward to seeing the end of the trilogy in 2031 or whenever lol

what're the odds it ends up being this supposed next Gundam design that leaked like a few months ago? the underarm beam rifle is neat, but it's not super interesting to me besides that, so i kinda hope it isn't this

Artwork rumoured to be a leaked design from the upcoming new Gundam series.

welp, that sure was a sequel to Gundam SEED Destiny, which was a sequel to Gundam SEED it was very silly, but also pretty fun in parts, which feels like an apt way to close out SEED in general

gotta love a good tactical haro deployment

oh ok, i mean if we're just doing straight up newtype stuff now i'm glad it's not exclusively the coordinator characters that get to be newtypes

psychic powers? getting mind controlled into causing an incident? hey, you spilled your Code Geass in this Gundam SEED!

can this movie be about the gay tri-star lady instead? actually, can all of SEED be about her instead? please?

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. Shinn, Lunamaria, and the SEED Tri-stars are hanging out getting drinks from a vending machine, one of the Tri-stars says "guys from Eurasia supposedly saw a kelpie."

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. Hilda (googled her name just now cos i dont remember Destiny ever giving us their names lol) enters the room as Luna asks "What's a kelpie?"

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. Hilda floats over and replies "A monster that lives in the water."

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. Hilda wraps her arms around Luna and leans on her as she continues "Well, it just means that country is all the more mysterious."

who the fuck also i'm sure i'm nowhere near the first to make this complaint, but man i really didn't think SEED's character design style could get worse, why did they feel the need to make every woman's lips look like that

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. Lacus, in a dream, finds herself standing in a hazey pink cloud. She looks confused and asks "Kira?"

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Freedom. From Lacus' POV we see a blurry Kira in the distance, Lacus reaches out a hand and asks "Kira... what's the matter?"

i feel like i'd be asking too much of SEED to expect an explanation for how and why Blue Cosmos are still an active threat capable of deploying Destroy Gundams after Destiny had their entire source of funding (Logos) destroyed, so for now i will sit back, shut off my brain, and "wow, cool robot!"

welp, that sure was a sequel to Gundam SEED i kind of ended up losing interest in the overall plot like halfway through, it all just started to feel very predictable and drawn out i guess but hey, at least there was still hype moments and aura, and the music was still good

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Shinn and Kira shake hands.

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Gladys continues over a shot of Kira and Athrun running down a collapsing hallway, "It just shows that it was destiny."

they're sooo committed to undoing one of the best moments of tragedy from SEED that they'll just do the same exact shit again but with a happy ending this time i guess, wild

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Close-up of Ramius grimacing as she thinks to herself "If we move, their shot will hit the Eternal!"

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. The Akatsuki blocks the shot, protecting the Archangel in exactly the same way Mu did in the Strike at the end of SEED.

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Mu/Neo states "I won't let you get the Archangel!" as this deja vu moment seemingly causes him to regain his memories.

imagining Durandal being like "hm yes, and for this next part of my Evil Plan Announcement Livestream, I'd like you to hire an animator to draw me all cutes getting yelled at by mean ol' Djibril, and then he gets carried off and I'm put in charge, smile." is really funny

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. During the announcement of Durandal's Destiny Plan, an animation is shown of chibi Durandal and Djibril, Djibril is behind a desk and yelling at a sad looking Durandal. The caption reads "You may find that you are currently being mistreated."

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Durandal and Djibril receive cards, Durandal's is green and Djibril's is red.

Screenshot from Gundam SEED Destiny. Cagalli continues over the comms "Soldiers, arrest and restrain Yuna Roma Seiran at once".
