They have now changed the headline but the caption says he appeared to slash a boat. I’m sure when the police arrested him they didn’t say ‘hey mate it appears you slashed a boat’

We were at Stonehenge (random family trip) on Sunday and had driven over the Plain to get there it was brown for miles and miles. I’ve lived in Wiltshire for nearly 25 years and never seen the ground so dry up there.

Because if he hasn’t done everything he’s talked about by last week the right wing media can convince a gullible public that he’s failed. Simple as that. Already happening in the Torygraph. They will do to Burnham exactly what they did to Starmer. He’ll be worst PM ever by next week.

Let me introduce you to the only other boat lift in the UK. The Anderton Boat Lift. Sadly closed until next year for repairs. Designed in 1875 to lift boats 50 feet from River Weaver to the Trent and Mersey canal.

I did. Here’s a list at and why they’re banned here. But still used in the US it’s why US produce doesn’t meet our food standards and that’s before we get on to chlorinated chicken and growth hormone fed beef.

Well done Moses. This Fred. Fred got attacked by a domestic bengal cat when out on a walk. Fred screamed (I heard it from the house 100 yards away) ran off and left his dad to fend for himself.

I will continue to call them what ever I like. Words have more than one meaning. They twist, distort and warp truth and facts. Hence deform. I do not believe disabled people are bad or infact deformed. My husband was left with a speech disability after a stroke he is not deformed.

This was my effort for my daughter Christmas 2015. She was in her 20s at the time I knitted 2 strands of yarn an aqua green and a purple . I believe she still has it. I now knit for her baby, my grandchild

Who on earth in government agreed to a rabbit on the 50p back in 2016 what kind of leftist nature loving liberal chancellor would have agreed to this?

Meanwhile here in the UK Sadiq Khan the Mayor of London, that Drumpf labelled “vicious and disgusting” amongst other things, pictured with his dog Luna. Despite this we’ve had the Muslims want to ban dogs here in UK too even naming Sadiq khan as wanting to ban dogs in London 🙄

Bear’s a bit of a chonk for a GSD but he went to vet last week for health check up. Was told his weight is fine and he’s in great condition for an 8yr old. Your dog is lovely.

For all of you saying this means the end of local policing read the proposals.

Read the proposals

If you read the proposals you will also find out that they propose units that concentrate on neighbourhood policing and will be based locally and part of the community so will be familiar with local issues. I would welcome this From the BBC report .

So a quick explanation and saying they do look lovely in the house this time of year. Not sure where the lecture was, But hey ho I won’t darken your doorstep again with a lecture. Have a lovely evening.

You should really leave them until next spring. The dry flowers from this summer protect the flower buds forming for next spring from frost. Mine will stay like this until next March/April. But the drying flowers do look lovely in the house at this time of year.

It’s not a gender neutral word never has been. From an old French word specifically referring to women. Modern sensitivities may find it jarring but it is now archaic and I assume when it was used it was put on tomb stones of much loved family members by their family so why be offended.

Who bears the cost when those on low incomes are subsidised by in work benefits? I work in a supermarket, one which actually pays just above minimum wage, it also still manages to increase its profits year on year.

Don’t we have anti terrorism laws that ban people from coming to the UK. Musk certainly falls into category 3.

One of my favourite photos I took is this from July 2012 at Llechwedd. One of those days in north Wales when the cloud sits on top of the mountains all day. I love the contrast of the green against the grey sky and slate.

I love it there. You walk in the workshops and it’s like everyone has just put their tools down and gone for a tea break. The wheel pattens fascinate me.

His majesty Boo Boo Bear. Sometimes mistaken for a teddy bear as he spends hours on the sofa without moving.

Thought theses were my daughter’s cats for a second. But they don’t have such posh beds. This is the last time they stayed at grandmas. Look of total disgust is bcs I have 2 dogs they have to share the house with when they stay with me. Side note - they actually used to live with dogs at my house.

As they got older, completely inseparable. But Mr Dougal did like to remind dear Saffron who was in charge from time to time. Cats are excellent dog trainers.

We’ve got an Annabelle Beatrice Sanderson in our council ward in Wiltshire for the Tories . On her bio it tells us her, I kid you not, her favourite biscuit. Out canvassing on Saturday we were in the garden I said no thank you I’m a member of the Labour Party so they left quite quickly.

Sadiq Khan is often accused of this banning dog nonsense, which is most bizarre as he does have a dog.

Reading this I do wonder if the person that wrote it has actually ever watched Threads. The attack on Sheffield - it was a depiction of the effects of a nuclear war.
