And for today in "Cheerfull medical ableism" a couple snippits from a file my gp sent me about my backpain

Two fake sticky notes, one says "The sooner you get on with your life- the sooner you will feel better" and the other "Back pain need not cripple you, so don't let it!"

Screen shot from a medical patient leaflet saying:
"There are two types of sufferer
One who avoids activity (frowny face emoji)
and one who copes (smiley face emoji)

(frowny face emoji) The avoider gets frightened by the pain and
worries about the future.
• The avoider is afraid that hurting always means
further damage.
• The avoider rests a lot, and just waits for the pain
to get better.

(smiley face emoji) The coper knows that the pain will get better and
does not fear the future.
• The coper carries on as normally as possible.
• The coper deals with the pain by being positive,
staying active and getting on with life.

Who suffers most?

(frowny face emoji) Avoiders suffer the most. They have pain for
longer, they have more time off work and they can
become disabled.
(smiley face emoji) Copers get better faster, enjoy life more and have
less trouble in the long run."

And last in the tutorial series but by no means least, lighting! A huge thankyou to @blenderguru on Youtube! #blender #blenderdonut #donut5

Four glossy, brightly coloured donuts arranged on a plate in sunlight — two purple with rainbow sprinkles, one pink with little pearl decorations, and one deep blue covered in tiny crescent moons and stars. A small ceramic cup of dark coffee sits beside them on a saucer. The whole scene has gentle, realistic lighting and a textured stone surface beneath.

I decided to make some more donuts! #blender #blenderdonut

Three colourful donuts stacked on a grey ceramic plate — one with bright purple icing and rainbow sprinkles, one with pink icing and metallic sprinkles, and one with deep blue icing decorated with stars and crescent moons. Beside the plate sits a rustic wooden coloured cup filled with black coffee on a white saucer. Everything is lit dramatically on a textured stone surface.

And now, sprinklesand a textured coffee mug! #blender #blenderdonut #donut5

A rendered scene showing a small donut with bright purple icing and colourful sprinkles sitting on a speckled ceramic plate. To the right, there’s a dark wooden mug of black coffee resting on a plain white saucer. Both sit on a rough stone-textured tabletop, with strong overhead lighting casting deep shadows beneath the plate and mug.

And now, some texturing! #blender #blenderdonut #donut5

A 3D render of a donut and a mug sitting on a concrete surface. The donut is on a wide grey ceramic plate and has bright purple icing with a smooth, glossy finish and a few drips around the edges. To the right is a dark navy-blue mug on a small saucer, both matte and slightly reflective. The lighting is strong and directional, creating sharp shadows behind the objects.

I got some colouring done, and some slight imperfections to make it perfect!! #blender #blenderdonut #donut5

I made this food today! It was fun to make, and what's also fun is asking people what they think it is!

Kat K @katcodes.dev · 27/11/2025

Though have also had some fun playing with modifiers

Kat K @katcodes.dev · 27/11/2025

Working on a silly Minecraft mod!

Screenshot from Minecraft focusing on an Item in the head curios slot called Rose Coloured Glasses, which appear to be a pair of rose coloured glasses.

I am not quite sure what sort of water this is ... and I am kind of scared to find out.

A cropped screenshot of a delivery app drinks option, showing the drink Sparking water (500ml) which it says contains eggs, fish, gluten and soybeans.

I made a bbq beans on toast burger once! It was delicious.
