Guess who has a new Call of Cthulhu game out today?! An Ominous Herald is a murder-mystery set in ancient Rome. Think Knives Out at the Villa of Hadrian. If you want to fight the Cthulhu Mythos wearing a toga and wielding a trident, this one's for you. legacy.drivethrurpg.com/product/5840...

I'm taking my time with Zero Parades. It's got me thinking deeply about time in video games, and I want to write a longer essay on it. But in the meantime, this is my current favourite line: "We are all a moron local to somebody."

If you mixed Robocop with a dash of Duke Nukem, and Kazuo Ishiguro’s incredible novel Never Let Me Go, then you’d have the mash-up that is Replaced. Unfortunately, the writing doesn't match up with the gorgeous visuals. My review and game writing critique: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8nK...

Honestly most TTRPGs could learn from Esoteric Ebb how to give a simple explanation of what attributes do. Instead of 20 pages of minutiae, just "If you take this attribute no one will like you". 🤣 For the record, I'm playing a charismatic idiot.
