Ha! That would have been a better move for the player. I just got glared at as I fell into a fit of giggles

PC: "Water demon, can you purge this drug from my system?" Me (GM): "Urm, well, ah...make a resilience role..." PC: 9 Me: "Okay, it works, but it basically flooded your system, so now you really, really, really have to pee." PC: "But it's the middle of combat!" Me: 🤷‍♀️😇😁 #trrpg fun!

New party concept: Friend 1: I always play a rogue. This time I wanna be an obnoxious paladin Friend 2: I wanna be a bard who's really enthusiastic, but kind of crap at it Me: I'm thinking a cleric of the god of time who really doesn't wanna be a cleric GM:

Thanks for the space and nice to meet you! I'm Katadriel (alt @mythscapades.bsky.social ). I do worldbuilding, make dice, and make nerdy hand fans!

A set of handmade, sharp-edged roleplaying dice that are transparent black with green and white swirls to look like an aurora borealis.

A handmade hand fan made of fabric that has small black dragons on a very pale pink background, trimmed in black lace, with white handles

A book cover for a book called the Elven Renaissance. The cover features a green wooded, mountain landscape with a river and some white ruins

Some of those would make pretty traditional Aurora colors!

It is true that mammals will develop towards the female body plan unless something intervenes to change that. However, the EO claims to define sex by the production of large/small gametes at conception. At conception, a human fetus isn't producing *any* gametes.

Oooo, I like that. I kind of want to see the colors that would produce if it really were the case!

Haha, fair. What would they think if they did see it?? 😁

One of my cultures sees it as a sign of broken promises and a reminder to any who see it to be true to their word. Promises made under an aurora are intensely binding Another sees it as a sign of unspoken emotions, and as a result, will get VERY (excessively?) expressive on aurora nights
