Beginning October 1, some of the cuts to SNAP and Medicaid mandated by “the One Big Beautiful Bill Act” take effect. The cuts will bring new eligibility requirements and hardship for tens of millions of low-income Americans and people with disabilities that depend on the programs.

The whole day today and last night Chinese journalists enjoyed access to the White House complex and all events while the American press was blocked from attending most of the time. Trump praised the Chinese press which is idiotic: there is no free media in communist countries, only propaganda.

Judge Kelly ordered at 12:58am on Thursday early morning the immediate reinstatement of access for CNN, MS NOW, and Politico journalists to the WH complex. Betsy Klein of CNN reports that her and her colleagues access was still denied at 8am up until 11:50am.
