Outside of that one backless area cup comp (which no one in west is running) I don’t see any appeal. I’ve legit tried most of what you suggested above and we lose vs 52 blast. Either that or I could blame the sword players for their skill issue ig (no name dropping) but that doesn’t get me anywhere.

I think you’re missing the point but yeah I agree that 52 blast is still god tier in turf, more so saying you only 3 bs guns instead of 4 (and tbh that’s not much better but it’s sth ig). I was more so just implying we just don’t try turf-only outside of Nintendo official stuff.

Meta adaption: I’ve always upheld the notion “pick a good weapon if you wanna win” in competitive games. Adaption and swapping to better options is simply part of player progression. If you want to one-trick sth like sword that’s fine but don’t complain when you lose when we all have free choice.

Nah the solution to buff roller’s hitbox so it’s just as dumb bc that’s what S3 is good at. (No literally, carbon’s kill hitbox got buffed 3 times in S3 and we don’t talk about dynamo :3)

Ok as much as everyone hates 52 blaster: I think it’s in the game’s best interest to buff literally anything to match the top tier’s level of power. Nerfing 52 blaster is cool but that alone wouldn’t actually get ppl to play the game in its 4th year life cycle, esp if they’re not doing more 3rd kits

You could try to run the old stuff (splash stamper) with good synergy but sh*t matchups or the new stuff (52 tri) while stronger, it feels you’re just running a worse version of the ‘meta’ comp.
