Our healthcare was decent until 2018, albeit underfunded and overworked; when the CAQ took office they absolutely gutted the system, shut down hospitals & clinics, really took a sledgehammer to the whole thing to then push for privatization. Most of our current societal issues come from Legault.

met our new landlady yesterday, she reassured us that nothing will change, our rents wouldn't go up, no big renovations, no evictions. apparently making a profit isn't much of a concern to her, as her family is rich, and she just wants a few properties to pass down to her toddler when they're older.

turns out she didnt even need stitches, the nurse at the ER triage that we saw when we got in couldve told us that I hate how broken our healthcare system is in quebec...(it has nothing to do with the system being free, it's an active effort by our government to privatize healthcare)

a couple of days ago, while my spouse was taking a shower, the shower head fell on her head and she was bleeding. we didn't want to take any chances so we went to the ER in case that she needed stitches. we waiting 6 hours before leaving and went to a private clinic who saw us in 15 minutes...
