Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 25/09/2026This! Support with proof-reading, indexing, references et cetera 020
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Thought it was a rule change fairly aligned with the view you develop! 111
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 16/09/2026So, for the first time I've been asked to review a book manuscript for one of the big academic publishing houses. Anyone got any tips and tricks? 000
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Your process is very similar to mine. One difference is that I often get a sense of whether I think it should be accept/R&R/reject already during steps 2 and 3. From that point I'm mostly checking back on particular parts of the manuscript or the review to confirm whether that judgement is fair 020
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Oh, this looks excellent. Look forward to reading it. On a related note, did you see the recent MLB rule changed that banned using AI-tools in the dugouts for in-game strategic decision making? 100
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Haha no reason to feel guilty about making better choices than the rest of us! 010
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Probably the second warmest day of philosophy I've ever done after the first day at the Joint Session in Glasgow where I showed up in formal shoes, wool dress trousers and dress shirt in like 33C for no good reason at all 100

Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I suppose it is, particularly to the things that us philosophers care/think about. But for some reason I just find the disagreements about exploitation particularly fascinating. 010
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Everyone seemingly has an idea of what it means to exploit someone. At the same time no one seemingly can agree on a definition nor what makes it wrongful 100
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Back to writing about exploitation, this time in 'epistemic' guise, and the contested, unsettled nature of the literature on the topic across ethics, pol. phi. and now in epistemology is fascinating 120
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 08/08/2026I don't, but I think there is a 'final version' available here: www.law.nyu.edu/sites/defaul... 110
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 07/08/2026Would Rawls approve of my Black Legion army? Strikes me as an Ultramarines type of guy 050
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I think the vet nurse saw from my reaction. When I left the bird they told me that at minimum what I had done was to give it a peaceful end, and spared it from being killed by another bird or a neighbourhood cat 110
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 06/08/2026I had a very similar experience a few years ago with a pigeon that flew into my kitchen window. Contacted wildlife rescue, took it to the vet and then was told the same thing as you were. Felt horrible 110
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Would make a lot of sense. Likely want to get him some playing time to develop 010
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 05/08/2026As someone who has had Leicester City season tickets over the last few years, I am very interested to see how he develops with City. Incredible talent, but obviously a big step 110

Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 11/07/2026Registered my 30 minute walk to the polish shop and back for kielbasa as a workout on Strava. Definitely counts 110
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 08/07/2026On the train from Birmingham to Reading, and safe to say I am far from the only person on route to the Joint Session. Borderline ridiculous concentration of philosophers on this train 030
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 03/07/2026I do some Phil of Soc Sci and I'd agree with this reading. It might be worth checking out the work of people like Alison Wylie, Inkeri Koskinen and Julie Zahle who all do great work in Phil of Soc Sci 020

Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 21/04/2026This is literally why I started studying philosophy. Started as a history student, got annoyed with a number of epistemological issues, started reading historiography, still not satisfied, so moved to philosophy 040
Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 21/04/2026I'm normally fine with aggressive deadlines for peer-reviews. I'm happy to review regularly. Happy to turn reviews around relatively fast. But requiring a 10 day turnaround might be too much for me 010

Karl Landström @karllandstrom.bsky.social · 14/01/2026That make sense! I find that what makes older games hard is often that they can be kinda clunky rather that the mechanics/strategy of a certain fight/area or w/e 000
