I think the difference between the Boruto hate you stumble upon on Bluesky vs Twitter is that no one gets in your face here about reading Boruto... if you end up in a scuffle, it's because you caused it.

Colorless World - Mini-Drabble:

With her new glasses prescription, she could see details that were blurry before. Sarada had poor eyesight from her childhood, so wearing glasses just felt right.

She knew using her Mangekyou like she did in her prior fights would lead to the world slowly losing its colors with each use of her abilities. It was an equivalent exchange, allowing her to protect those dear to her.

“All right! At least my vision is back now!” Gripping her glasses, Sarada’s blurry world was again clear like a lake. Perhaps that’s why she was paying attention to the colors of buildings around her, the ground, the blue sky, and the white clouds above.

A sharp sound interrupted her stray thoughts. A kunai with a familiar pattern pierced the soil. “An Uzumaki branding!”
She was grateful her new prescription let her see. The swirly pattern on the kunai wouldn’t be visible to her otherwise. That meant Boruto was around here.

Her head tilted toward the sky again. There he was in the air, golden blond hair reflecting the rays of the sunlight that would eventually turn to darkness, leaving her to only feel warmth on her skin.

“Boruto!” she screamed, afraid his image would soon disappear. His cape was fluttering in the air, signaling to follow him.

Summary of the story Cast Out by Clueless_As_Always:

The Ōtsutsuki are defeated, the battle is won, the world is saved - but the cost was high.

At the age of sixteen, Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha emerge as Konoha's victors of the fight that sealed the fate of the earth, but the victory doesn't look like one. The blood on their hands and the lives taken by their weapons let things appear in a very different light, and the two teenagers are forced to leave everything behind in order to protect the village they fought for and the loved ones still alive.

This collection of one-shots accompanies the two friends through the years, through loss and suffering, but also through moments in which two broken individuals can help each other become whole again.

You might not see me posting much about Boruto/Naruto lately (including fic chapters) and I think it’s just a temporary fandom burnout. I posted Boruto fics since 2018 (when I was a teenager), which is approx. 9 years! I’ll likely recover, but my motivation concerning Boruto dropped a bit!
